Yarra Valley Wineries Meet the California Sunset

There’s nothing quite like sharing a glass of premium Yarra Valley wine beneath a golden Californian sky.

As part of Aussie Wine Month, we packed a curated selection of our finest wines and headed to the United States for a whirlwind roadshow across California. With stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Santa Barbara, the goal was simple: to showcase the elegance, character and quality of Australian wine, especially from the Yarra Valley, to a new audience.

Each event brought together sommeliers, distributors, buyers and wine lovers eager to explore cool-climate wines from our region. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay attracted plenty of attention, as expected. However, the surprise favourites were our bold Cabernet Sauvignon and textural white blends, which captured the interest of both tasters and industry professionals.

More importantly, the trip was about more than pouring wine. It was about creating connections, sharing stories from the vineyard and introducing the people behind the labels. These conversations helped build relationships that will hopefully see more Yarra Valley wines appear on American shelves and wine lists in the future.
