The 2023 Yarra Valley vintage was shaped by a cool, wet spring and a slow, steady ripening season, influenced by a third consecutive La Niña year. Although yields were slightly reduced, the extended growing period allowed for excellent flavour development, balanced acidity, and beautifully structured fruit — ideal conditions for producing expressive, site-driven wines.

Medium to full-bodied and intensely expressive, the palate bursts with juicy red fruit, think plum, cherry, and redcurrant, supported by rich, velvety tannins. A subtle earthiness and natural freshness add depth and complexity, while its structure promises graceful aging over the next 5–8 years.
Lovely with roast duck, grilled lamb, or mushroom-based dishes, gouda and aged cheddar to complement the wine’s generous fruit, savoury and earthy depth.
