The 2020 season in the Yarra Valley was characterized by a mild summer with cooler conditions during ripening, allowing for slow flavour development and excellent balance. Careful vineyard management ensured healthy fruit with bright acidity and expressive aromatics, ideal for crafting fresh, textured white blends.
A vibrant field blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Semillon, the fruit was fermented and matured in seasoned French oak puncheons for eight months, adding subtle complexity, texture, and longevity. The oak influence integrates beautifully with the wine’s fresh, varietal character, highlighting balance and depth.
Bright and expressive with layers of passionfruit, citrus, and fresh herbs, supported by a soft line of acidity and a hint of smoky oak. The palate is textured and balanced, offering freshness now with the potential to develop beautifully in bottle.
