Site selection: E block runs north-south, ensuring balanced sun exposure throughout the day. The combination of shaley and sandy loam soils provides excellent drainage and contributes to the distinctive character of the Rosé, resulting in well-structured and flavourful wines.
Adam McCallum, Winemaker notes: Machine harvested fruit was put into press immediately with only the briefest skin contact. Once pressed to tank the juice is settled out overnight and racked the following day. The juice is then inoculated, and the ferment took approximately 10 days to complete. After ferment the wine is racked, sulphured and left for four months until bottled.
A delightful strawberry and floral bouquet on the nose, transferring directly to the palate for a fruity, soft finish. The added feel of cream and peach leaves you wanting more.
