Vintage Notes
The 2023 growing season in the Yarra Valley was marked by a cool, wet spring and a long, even ripening period. These conditions allowed for excellent flavour development, vibrant acidity, and balanced tannin structure, ideal for crafting refined, cool-climate Syrah with depth and character.
Winemaking
Crafted with whole-bunch fermentation and extended maceration on skins, this Syrah was aged in a single new French oak puncheon to build texture, spice, and complexity. The result is a powerful yet elegant wine that captures both the finesse and intensity of Yarra Valley Syrah.
