2024 Pinot Noir, Yarra Valley, Victoria
Bright and graceful with cherry and spice, a natural partner to duck or mushroom risotto
Bright and expressive with notes of cherry, cranberry, and redcurrant, layered with subtle earthy musk and evolving flavours of poached cherry, charred strawberry, and savoury redcurrant. Silky tannins and an elongated finish highlight the wine’s finesse and balance.
The 2024 vintage began with a calm spring, allowing flowering to proceed smoothly. While rainfall was slightly above average through early summer, careful vineyard management kept disease pressure under control. February and March brought ideal ripening conditions, with hot, dry weather accelerating veraison and harvest. Picking began 10 days earlier than the previous year, with strong yields and excellent fruit quality across all blocks.
Crafted from 667 and MV6 clones planted in 2019, this Pinot Noir was fermented for 30 days with 30% whole bunch and the remainder as whole berries to enhance aromatic lift and freshness. The wine was aged for nine months in French oak (30% new), resulting in depth, structure, and complexity while preserving varietal purity.

Excellent with roast duck with cherry glaze, wild mushroom risotto. pork tenderloin and soft cheeses like brie and camembert.
