2019 Wayward Child Hannahanna
Hannahanna is an ancient deity. Her name means mother mother, or mother of all. In cahoots with farmer & weather gods, she shares responsibility for land productivity. Wayward Child wines represent the reciprocal nurturing relationship between land and farmer. Look after the land and land is fruitful. Our first release of Hannahanna is a blend of wild Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot the bird magnet, and exotic spiced Shiraz. Bottled unfiltered and un-fined.
During lockdown, we kept ourselves busy with this one…
hand-picked, hand-made, hand-bottled, hand-labelled & hand-packed.
A truly unique and delicious red wine bursting with layers of herbal, fruit, & savoury flavours.
A bit like walking in a rainforest after the rain stops.
