Our Alena Pinot Noir was picked during the month of February and fermented in stainless steel open top fermenters. Daily punch downs and occasional pump overs were employed to respect the fruit, extract soft tannins and enhance fruit character.

After fermentation, the wine was run to one-year old French oak barrique and hogsheads for malolactic fermentation. The wine remained in barrel for 12 months, where only the best barrels were selected for this premium blend.
