2023 Re’em Pinot Noir

$80.00

95pts GOLD Medal 2024 Yarra Valley Wine Show

This vibrant Pinot Noir is a blend of the best old plantings and new clonal selections, combining tradition and innovation. Bright cranberry and cherry flavours take center stage, complemented by subtle musk, earthy undertones, and a judicious touch of spicy oak. The result is a balanced and elegant wine with depth and complexity, showcasing the finest expression of New World Pinot Noir.

Winemaking Notes: Crafted from a careful selection of our estate’s most expressive Pinot Noir parcels, this wine embodies both heritage and modern winemaking techniques. The fruit was handpicked at optimal ripeness and gently fermented to preserve its purity and vibrancy. A portion of whole-bunch fermentation enhances aromatics and adds structure, while maturation in premium French oak brings balance and finesse. The result is a Pinot Noir that beautifully reflects the terroir and winemaker’s vision.

Food Pairing: The 2023 Re’em Pinot Noir’s bright fruit and delicate spice make it a versatile partner for a range of dishes. Pair it with roasted duck, wild mushroom risotto, or grilled salmon for an elegant match. For a more casual pairing, try it alongside a charcuterie board with soft cheeses and cured meats, where its acidity and depth will shine.

Reviews

A light, bright crimson red. A highly perfumed nose of strawberries, cranberries, rose petal and light incense notes. Light to medium bodied, this gentle and well-crafted wine builds nicely in intensity across the palate. The tannins are discreet and persistent, and this will continue to blossom over the next few years. Philip Rich, Halliday Wine Companion 2025
