2018 That’s a Wrap!
It’s nearly a wrap on 2018 and as we continue on with the busy season at Cellar Door, it’s good to take a moment to reflect on the year.
This year we’ve had a few wins both in the wine show arena and at home on the farm in Gruyere. Permits were approved for the new cellar door and winery facility, our application for increased capacity received the final approval stamp, Cherry trees were planted, and our team of Cellar Door legends grew (so did our Helen & Joey extended family!).
We’ve enjoyed fun times with great folk at the Melbourne Food & Wine Festivals, Barbie & Barrel, Unicorn Spring Carnival, Wine in Wildlife, Pinot Palooza, and a tour of Sydney and Brisbane with the Good Food & Wine Shows. Truth be told, we are pretty exhausted as we keep up with the growing business needs and busy schedules though we keep buoyed by the vision of where we are going and the amazing people we meet along the way.
Its you, the happy folk who share even just a moment with us, a story over the tasting bar, the laughter and warmth of humans connecting, and the child-like frivolity as imagination kicks in with each step up to ride bare-back on Bruce the Unicorn (who now has a serious Instagram following #brucetheunicorn). Oh, and the great wine enjoyed with friends! Can’t forget the great wine.
So, from all the team, thanks, and all the best for the new year!
